This short cable provides a female SMA bulk-head that can be attached to the case of your product to provide a robust external GPS antenna connector. The other end of the cable is terminated with a male MCX (OCX) connector that can be attached directly to an MCX GPS receiver. This arrangement is quite popular with OEM designers and Laipac offer a version of the PG-11 receiver with an MCX connector.

This Interface Cable II is the perfect solution to connect the Laipac PG-31 GPS Receiver wich uses an MMCX connector for the antenna connection due to its small size. MMCX is a micro-miniature connector series with a lock-snap mechanism allowing for 360 degrees rotation enabling flexibility in PCB layouts. MMCX connectors conform to the European CECC 22000 specification.
