TF30-CF can be used as an ordinary real-time GPS locator. It satisfies a wide variety of application for vehicle navigation, tracking, sport, leisure and recreation purpose. It creates a portable navigation system when plugged into a portable computer device. TF30-CF opens up many more business application in transportation, marine, aviation and industrial markets. A user can simply plug it into a PDA or other type of handheld computer running Windows CE operating system, with suitable mapping and routing software for navigation purpose. In automotive applications, TF30-CF supports advanced tracking capabilities through fast recovery times combined with reliable operation in "urban" and areas of dense foliage.

The TF30-CF is a finished product, it comes with an embedded active antenna and all necessary components built into a small package it ready to be used additional antenna. Based on the SiRF Star II chip set manufactured by SiRF Technology, Inc., TF30-CF supports all features, and maintains the technical specifications of the SiRF star II architecture. TF30-CF receiver is a fully self-contained receiver for GPS.

Inside the package, the TF 30 module provides complete GPS signal processing from antenna input to serial data output. This receiver is well suited to system integrators or users who use PDA, notebook PC, and "off-the-shelf" GPS solution.
