Warranty & Clause

By placing an order with Laipac means you have read and agreed to the following Warranty & Clause policy.
Due to the substantial discounts and confidential technology information involved with our products, all the sales of Laipac products are final sales. It is important for you as the buyer to carefully and closely inspect the shipment upon receipt. If there is any damage or defect, please include a note explaining the reason and follow our RMA procedure to ship back the item within 7 days for exchange of the product. Laipac is not responsible for the safe delivery of merchandise and, the shipping costs if the defect/damage is not a direct result of Laipac's manufacturing defect. It is very important that you insure your shipment, for your and our protection in the event the package is lost or damaged during delivery. Items must be shipped back with shipping charges prepaid, with the original packaging materials and documentation, in new and unused condition without having been re-sized or altered in any way. If it is due to an inherent defect or due to Laipac Technology’s error, the ensuing shipping fee will be waived.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY REQUEST FOR DIRECT EXCHANGE ON ANY USED PRODUCTS, PRODUCTS THAT EXCEED THE 7 DAYS POLICY WILL BE COVERED BY STANDARD WARRANTY ( EXPLAINED AS BELOW ). PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT IT IS IN THE SAME CONDITION AS YOU HAVE RECEIVED AND THE SHIPMENT IS POSTMARKED WITHIN 7 DAYS FROM THE DATE YOU RECEIVED THE PACKAGE. OTHERWISE WE WILL NOT ACCEPT YOUR REQUEST IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.
The standard warranty of Laipac's finished products is 1 year from the date of shipment and the standard warranty for modules and components is 6 months. After 7 days, Laipac will apply the warranty policy to all RMA items. The labor for repair will be no cost to the customer within the warranty period. The components replaced for repair will be billed to the customers. If the fault is due to manufacturing defect from the factory, the component replaced charge will be waived. The warranty doesn't cover for product failure caused by misuse by user, over voltage applied, broken by accident, un-authorized tempering of the device. Our technical department will make analysis on the RMA item and advice to the customer if there is any charge involved for the repair under warranty.
Steps to follow in case of returns:
Contact us at sales@laipac.com or by phone at +1.905.762.1228 to receive a return & exchange merchandise authorization (RMA) number and instructions. Please have the Invoice number available.
- To obtain the RMA number, please provide us with the invoice number and reason for the repair/exchange.
- Once you receive an authorization number you may ship back unused items in the original box with all accessories within 7 days for repair/exchange.
- Laipac Technology Inc. will not accept merchandise without an authorization (RMA) number. This number must be posted in a visible place on the outside of the package.
- Merchandise must include a copy of your invoice or packing slip and state clearly all items are for repair & exchange in the invoice.
- Shipping charges must be prepaid by the customer.
- Please be aware when shipping merchandises from USA to Canada by ground service, there will be custom brokerage charge. That charge is customer's responsibility. In order to avoid that, we suggest customer uses express courier service by Air.
